Recently my husband and I found a new date activity. It's called photography. We take random photo walks into various areas of Vancouver and just snap photos. The challenge is to come up with a photo a day for 365 days a year. It's been a challenge alright. I admit we cheat on some days when we don't have the opportunity to go out and take a good photo due to work and just purely bad weather. What we do is just take more on days we do go out to make up for the days that we didn't take any photos.

It was super cold outside by the waters and even though my hands were freezing from taking photos, I enjoyed capturing the moments. Seeing such beautiful creation always reminds me to slow down and live the moment... and breathe.
love it! what a fun way to spend time together AND capture memories! ;)
ReplyDeleteWow ...beautiful backdrop, i like the rawness and composition of the location. I wis i could take part in the challwnge i like taking pictures not so much of myself but of inanimate objects. You look chic, i like the simplicity and minimal colors. Very stylish. And oh yeah about my cambodia trip, nothing is finalized yet. But i am looking forward. Please pray that God will prepate my heart and give me wisdom. Thanks so much for offering your prayers, you are so caring!

That's a great idea for a date activity! I think I've mentioned my wife and I used to to treat our weekly trip to the grocery store as our date. The first pic is my favorite of the 3.
ReplyDeleteDisqus is acting weird lately...showing my e-mail address instead of my name when I comment. :(

Haha yes it is Kym! Do what you love and love what you do. Sometimes it's the simple things.
